Rockville United Church (RUC) is a vibrant, progressive congregation of diverse ages and backgrounds.  We are a union church affiliated with two denominations — the United Church of Christ and Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). We are committed to proclaiming the love of God through care of our congregation, our neighbors, and our earth home.  We are a compassionate, mission-oriented congregation where we celebrate life through worship and programs that encourage us to put our faith into action.

RUC is passionate about embracing racial and social justice. We support the LGBTQ+ community as an Open and Affirming/More Light church. We strive through community outreach, social justice advocacy, education, words, visible signs and actions to welcome all into a place of sanctuary and community. We celebrate our differences and strive to be a source of hope and healing in our local community and the wider world. We seek to be an engaging place to explore the life of faith within a community that honors each person’s faith journey.
