Help Your Neighbor

Rockville United Church cares about our members and our neighbors so we are posting resources you or someone you know may find helpful.

Do you know any immigrants who need to be informed about their rights? Regardless of their immigration status, they have guaranteed rights under the Constitution. They can learn more about their rights as an immigrant, and how to express them using links from the ACLU.

Do you know someone who struggles with food scarcity? The Montgomery County Food Resource Directory can help.

Does someone you know need other services? The Greater Washington, D.C. Emergency Services Directory, an online database of approximately 400 service providers, is here for you.

If there are other links you would like to see on this website, please contact our Communications Coordinator at lynne@rockvilleunitedchurch.org

Help Manna Food Bank

Manna Food Bank needs help packing food and they are now working with teams of 6.  They provide a pass to drive to the facility and particularly need help on weekday afternoons.

Community Reach of Maryland

The Rockville Emergency Assistance Program (REAP) provides emergency assistance to individuals and families living in Rockville, who are facing a financial crisis. REAP provides direct financial service to Rockville residents in an effort to help them avoid utility termination, eviction, or to help those in need of life-saving medications or medical procedures.
